On the road to Aubépines, if you continue on a further kilometre, you arrive at the Maye Beach...a never-ending, fine-sand beach, on the right, behind the dune: the Marquenterre Bird Park and the Hourdel Lighthouse which can just been seen on the horizon... the sand washes away, everything changes...the tide is coming in.
